What is a hackathon? Already tomorrow info session on Code; Without Barriers hackathon!

What is a hackathon? Something that sounds intimidating to a few, but nonetheless it's a challenge that each of us with basic data skills can take up to advance in our careers and #breakthebias

As we’re a week away from the beginning of our Code; Without Barriers Hackathon. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Make sure you have filled in the registration form - Click Here
  2. Join the Discord Channel – If you haven’t done so already, join our Discord Workspace to chat with others, find other resources, and more: https://discord.gg/bSsqHykeNY

  3. Access the Challenges – The challenges alongside other information and our submission portal for our Virtual Hackathon can be found here

  4. Please note the hackathon is for individual participation only. Please disregard the button on devpost that states find teammates, you do not need teammates as the hackathon requires individual submissions :) 

FAQ about the Hackathon:

  1. The hackathon is completely free of charge for you to participate
  2. This is an individual hackathon and you can submit one or several problem statement solutions.
  3. You will have a mentor that guides you if you have any questions!
  4. You can access the data sets already now and see how easy it all is :)
  5. The hackathon is fully online and will have program sessions once a week for 2 hours, which you’re encouraged to attend, but will be recorded for you to watch later!
  6. Submissions start on April 12th and end on May 16th :)
